I think that's what it is. Maybe gerris?

Thanks, Jon. I just posted another ID request for another 'bug' from the same pool of water. Is it a Water Strider also?  Any genus thoughts?

to me. But I don't really know a lot about them. I'm sure there is someone on this site however, that could give you more informed opinion on these critters:)
