Flea beetle for sure, but could it be a "pigweed" Disonycha glabrata up here in Iowa - and on Day Lily? Right now I have him identified as Disonycha sp. Any help would be great.

I am not an expert but...
I agree with it being Disonycha, but I thought Disonycha pensylvanica because of the markings on the pronotum. Your specimen appears to have a border around the elytra which would also point me toward Disonycha pensylvanica ...


But again, I am no expert :)
