Identification

predator noun - any animal or other organism that hunts and kills other organisms (their prey), primarily for food (Wiktionary).

predatory adjective - 1. relating to a predator. 2. surviving by preying on other animals (Wiktionary).

predaceous adjective - surviving by preying on other animals.

predation noun - a biological interaction where a predator organism feeds on another living organism, the prey (Wikipedia).
