slender white insect
London, Middlesex, Ontario, Canada
June 10, 2005
Size: 8-9 mm
Saw several of these in deciduous woods on ash, basswood, maple - just sitting on the leaves, not feeding. Three tiny dots between the eyes: ocelli?

Plecoptera: Chloroperlidae
No clue as to the genus.

Chloroperlidae
Thanks, Donald. Image moved from Plecoptera page to new family page.

Stonefly.
Some stoneflies actually do not get any darker than this, but it could also be a "teneral" (newly-emerged and not-yet fully pigmented adult) of some other type. Yes, those spots are probably the ocelli.
