Moved from Lobopoda.

Not Tarpela
Tarpela is a Tenebrioninae. This is indeed an Alleculinae and is in the genus Lobopoda. The very large eyes and the body form give it away.

Tenebrionidae: Alleculinae: Tarpela sp.
It looks to be a Tarpela sp. of some sort.

Alleculinae.
Very nice image of a pretty specimen of the family Tenebrionidae, subfamily Alleculinae (if my memory is not failing me). We have images of similar critters here at Bugguide.

comb-clawed beetle
Thanks Eric.
