Pacific Forest Scorpion (U. mordax) - Uroctonus mordax

Pacific Forest Scorpion (U. mordax) - Uroctonus mordax
near Camp Sherman, Jefferson County, Oregon, USA
May 17, 2008
Size: ~4cm
This WAS THEE LARGEST forest scorpion I have ever seen in my life! I don't know if it was because of the area found or if this was one of those 1 in a lifetime things. I found this big "guy" (don't know sex) under rocks in a semi forested area, near water, on a small rocky slope. Sadly the photo isn't great and the specimen is somewhat dirty.
