Alleculinae (Comb-clawed Beetles) - Isomira sericea
Riverhead, Suffolk County, New York, USA

Size: guessing 3-4 mm.
Found in large numbers on winter squash blossoms, mostly on the rim of the flower.
They do not seem to damage the flower.

I think this appears to be Isomira sericea and the size also fits.

Looks like
an alleculine tenebrionid, perhaps Isomira.
