Acanthocephala - Acanthocephala declivis

Acanthocephala - Acanthocephala declivis
Austin, Travis County, Texas, USA

A. declivis?

Moved from Leaffooted Bugs.

Yes
no doubt, with those legs and those tubercles.

For what it's worth, I would agree.
I think that tibial expanded flange is unique amongst the Leaffooted bugs. Only the Giant Agave Bug (thomasi) has hind tibia dialation that looks similar but that is as far as the likeness goes between these two.

The tubercles are visibles in the shot also.

Of all the Acanthocephala (again with the exception of the Giant Agave Bug (thomasi)) this is, by far, the largest measuring around 1 inch (~25mm)
