looks rather like this Celery Looper to me, but I'm no expert:


 
Celery Looper or something else?
Could this be a treehopper (ceresa diceros)? It's amazing how two different things could look so similar.

I'm confident, though, that this is a moth.

If the contributor had filled out the size field, that would leave no doubt - the moth is many times larger. : )

 
Now that you mention the size...
It's been awhile since I took this photo, but I don't remember this insect as being tiny, so I think you are on to something. Thanks for your comments.
