Thiodina Jumping Spider - Colonus puerperus - male

Thiodina Jumping Spider - Colonus puerperus - Male
Haikey Creek Park, Broken Arrow County, Oklahoma, USA
July 23, 2008
What type of Thiodina is this? I'm leaning towards puerpera, but it does look a lot like sylvana. The markings on the abdomen are right for sylvana, but the top of the head is wrong.

Anyone know?

puerpera
This is puerpera. Dorsal carapace markings are diagnostic for this genus in the US.

Nice shots. These guys don't appear to be nearly as common as sylvana.

Nice
Sweet!
