fly - Rhagio

fly - Rhagio
Lancaster, Worcester County, Massachusetts, USA
June 13, 2005
Size: 5mm
Kind of looks like a small version of a snipe fly, without the long abdomen.

Not Atherix
Rhagionidae: Rhagio sp. This is not Atherix

Ibis fly
This looks somewhat like (1), and could be in the same family - Athericidae.
