this spider has been identifi
this spider has been identified as Larinioides sclopetarius or gray cross spider.

I found this spider on a wall
I found this spider on a wall with others around of the apparent same species in a few holes in the wall and hanging from the roof above. luckily this one came down on its web for me to catch it, i think its an orb weaver but not sure, its about the size of a quarter when its legs are not spread out. its front legs are around 2 cm long.
