Schistocerca obscura
The yellow spot on side of thorax, dark bars on top of hind femur, and black (apparently) hind tibiae all match this species.

Bird grasshopper.
This is one of the "bird grasshoppers" in the genus Schistocerca. At least 2-3 species look exactly like this, so I can't be more specific.
