Fly with white bands on abdomen - Ozodiceromyia flavipennis

Fly with white bands on abdomen - Ozodiceromyia flavipennis
Milton, Massachusetts, USA
June 15, 2005
Size: 8mm

Ozodiceromyia argentata
I needed to correct myself on this one. This one is Ozodiceromyia argentata (Bellardi). The golden hairs on the thorax made me think of O. flavipennis, but it really is not extensive enough.

Stilleto fly.
Pretty sure this is a stiletto fly in the family Therevidae.
