How do you know
that this is not, for example, S. rubicundulum? We have not seen any reliable way to identify these to species from an image. Do you have some new knowledge for us, or did you examine it with a handlens when you had it?

With those very yellow legs, we would think this to be S. vicinum. Although July is early, it is not unreasonable for them to be out already.

Don't think others show legs like that unless they just (within hours) emerged. I found my first ones yesterday here, so it's possible they're out at slightly more northern latitudes.
