Katydid found on Tamarack Tree at bog - Orchelimum

Katydid found on Tamarack Tree at bog - Orchelimum
Silver Lake Tamarack Bog, Kenosha County, Wisconsin, USA
July 27, 2008
Size: 1inch +/- w/o antennae
This is one of two types of Katydids found at the bog.

Moved
Moved from Katydids. Tentative genus ID, but the long antennae and proportionately short legs make me think it is probably Orchelimum.

Conocephalinae.
Nymph of one of the meadow katydids, Orchelimum or Conocephalus. Indication of size might be helpful here.

Size
About an inch -- maybe slightly less. But those antennae were very long.
