Size: 1 inch
Was crawling on my leg. We were interested in its wing markings, and didn't recognize it at all. Any ideas?

Yes, those are great fieldmarks
They take you right to genus, Cerambycidae, Eburia, in the guide here, and one of the experts will probably tell you which one!
