Snipe Flies mating - Chrysopilus ornatus - Male Female

Size: 9-11mm
National Audubon's Field Guiode to Insects and Spiders has the exact same fly and they list this as Gold-backed Snipe Fly, Chrysopilis
ornatus. Would like a second opinion please.
