Red bums
Ron: Unfortunately, it is a little more difficult than that. Many taxa that were previously recognized as genera (e.g., in the Manual of Nearctic Diptera Vol. 2) have been synonymized with Sarcophaga but there are still quite a few left with red terminalia that are not Sarcophaga.

Obliging
It was a very obliging and docile fly ;) and I remembered what you said about identification and am trying to get shots of the "hindquarters" when ever possible.
