Size: aroung 1 1/2in long
Large beetle attracted to the lights i left on one night for moths.

May beetle.
This is one of the "May beetles" or "June bugs" in the genus Phyllophaga. They are very diverse, with many species looking just like this:-) Dissection of the reproductive organs is generally the only way to determine a species. Larvae of these beetles are known as "white grubs."
