Beetle?? - Megetra punctata
Sierra Vista, Cochise County, Arizona, USA
July 29, 2008
Size: about 1/3 inch
Eating young vegetation on dirt road. Never seen anything quite like this, although the front end looks like a beetle. Mesquite grassland at 4980 feet elevation. Photos of two different individuals; about 10 total seen.
