Acanthocephala declivis
Early instar. This is the most elegant of the Acanthocephala nymphs I've seen (A. declivis, A. terminalis, and A. femorata) - they start out very red and black, and will turn more "dusty" looking as they age.

Moved from Leaffooted Bugs.

What genus
has all its legs widened? Or is this just a characteristic of Coreid nymphs in general such as ??

Excellent question
And I don't know.

Leaf-footed bug nymph
is my guess, based on those widened hind legs.

Leaf-footed bug nymph
Thanks!
