Slime Mold Beetles

Slime Mold Beetles
Windham, Rockingham County, New Hampshire, USA
July 17, 2008
Size: 2 - 2.5 mm
Found at night by headlamp in woods at edge a swampy area in a flesh-colored slime mold sporecarp along with adults and larvae of possibly 5 species including at least two leodids. I think these little guys were eggs when collected because I never saw them when I first sifted the crumbled sporecarp. Photographed July 25.
