Dendroides canadensis - female

Dendroides canadensis - Female
Marlton, Burlington County, New Jersey, USA
July 21, 2008
Came to the light at night. This appears to be a female Dendroides canadensis but I do not know what other species might be in NJ. I would guess somewhere around 10 mm maybe a little bigger.

Very nice!
We can't help except to say it looks like the images in the guide, but wanted to say how nice this was.

Thank You!
I figure with 4 species still not represented, and totally unknown to me, I wanted to play it safe. I have a book "Report of the New Jersey State Museum-Insects-1909" showing Dendroides canadensis in north jersey, but I know some of the others here have more recent books!

D. canadensis
according to Downie and Arnett (more recent, but prone to some minor errors), the only bi-colored species in the northeast is D. canadensis. (I'd believe D&A in this case)

wonderful images!

Thanks
For the confirmation and compliment
