Sap-sucking insect - Odontoloxozus longicornis

Sap-sucking insect - Odontoloxozus longicornis
Williamson County, Texas, USA
July 22, 2008
Size: ~ 1 inch
In this view, it's possible to see a sort of triangular 'face'...or something...and also, on the right, that there's antenna beyond the most visible blunt "stub"--it kind of trails away and I couldn't get it in focus. The only things in Kaufman that looked at all like it were a damsel bug in the genus Nabis, but when I looked in the Guide here. I'm thinking bug or beetle, though the head looks vaguely Neuropteran from this angle(but the legs are too long.)

Thanks. It took a long time
Thanks. It took a long time between uploading the two pictures because Stuff Happened. (Two computers. One printer. Internet difficulties. Not relevant to bugs, but definitely the OTHER kind of bugs.)

I'll look at the Guide for cactus flies now.
