Sap-sucking insect - Odontoloxozus longicornis Williamson County, Texas, USA July 22, 2008 Size: ~ 1 inch
In this view, it's possible to see a sort of triangular 'face'...or something...and also, on the right, that there's antenna beyond the most visible blunt "stub"--it kind of trails away and I couldn't get it in focus. The only things in Kaufman that looked at all like it were a damsel bug in the genus Nabis, but when I looked in the Guide here. I'm thinking bug or beetle, though the head looks vaguely Neuropteran from this angle(but the legs are too long.)
