ID please?
Beautiful hopper. I'm guessing this is a male because I'm about to post a larger one that I would guess is the female.

Bird grasshopper.
Yes, this one is a male...Genus is Schistocerca, but at least three species look like this. Moving to genus page in hopes that Dave Ferguson or another expert can take it to species. Lovely images!
