Ochlerotatus (Aedes) trivittatus
The striping pattern on the scutum is the key -- central dark stripe, yellowish stripes on either side, then dark outermost stripes.
From Carpenter & LaCasse, 1955: Persistent, painful biters, found in floodwater pools in meadows, swamps and woodlands.

Thanks
Meadows, swamps, and woodlands were all in the immediate vicinity and I'm sure we had some floodwater pools after heavy rains this summer.

This is the third identified species of Ochlerotatus to bite me this year.
