Katydid? Cricket? - Meconema thalassinum - female

Katydid? Cricket? - Meconema thalassinum - Female
Toronto, Ontario, Canada
August 4, 2008
Size: ~20mm
Measurement excludes antennae, which were roughly 2 times body length, and what I assume is the ovipositor. I didn't realize till looking at the images that it had lost both hind legs.

Thanks!
First ON image. Looks like the range for this is much wider than indicated on the guide page and the Singing Insects of North America website.
