inch worm covered in flowers - Synchlora

inch worm covered in flowers - Synchlora
Adel, Dallas County, Iowa, USA
August 5, 2008
Size: 3/4 in.
This caterpillar and several others like it were on blazing stars flowers. They bite off bits of the flower and stick it to them selves every morning. Most are making cocoons now. I moved this one to Queen Anne's lace to raise. It has stuck some flowers from that on itself also.
