Greenish spider w/ fluorescent orange dots in Florida - Leucauge venusta

Greenish spider w/ fluorescent orange dots in Florida - Leucauge venusta
Deland/FL, Florida, USA
July 24, 2008
Size: 1/2 inch
These spiders seem to be quite common around my yard, but I can't find them in my bug guide. They build irregular webs and stay there long-term, hanging out in the middle of the web all day.

Moved
Moved from Spiders.

I took the liberty...
of cropping your image. I feel it makes it easier to see the spider given the size restrictions of the images. Please let me know if you want it changed back and I will gladly do so...
