Help with bug identification - Phyllopalpus pulchellus

Help with bug identification - Phyllopalpus pulchellus
Essex County, New Jersey, USA
August 9, 2008
Size: Roughly 1 inch
I have a bunch of these (20+) on the outside screen of our family room. Just trying to figure out if we have a problem we need to control or if there's not really a problem.

Thanks,
Bill

Not an expert but...
Although the image is a little dark, judging by the legs, this looks like a Red-headed Bush Cricket (Phyllopalpus pulchellus).

There are different degrees of "Red" in this species.

Welcome to BugGuide!

Thanks...
There's some that look like each of the ones posted. So I think you nailed it.
