How did you find it?
How did you ever see it and what plant was it on? Very cool!

Yes, it was cool, and even pretty in a way !
I was photographing small insects, which I have to be sitting close to to spot and photograph. So, after sitting for a while, I spotted a dark speck on a leaf. It was the dorsal view, which didn't reveal much, but eventually I could see legs amd antennae so it was an insect. After a time, it moved and I was able to see it from different sides. Sorry, I don't know the plant. The leaf was a foot or so off the ground.

This shot is the best.
This shot is the best. So clear and perfect. If it was a handheld shot, it's incredible. I've got to set it as my desktop background for today.

Not an expert but...
Please see Warty Leaf Beetles (Chlamisini)

May not be this exact species... But it will be a starting place at least :)

Nice Pictures!

Thanks Ron . . .
Chlamisini looks like the right line. My specimen had the same eye knotch as Neochlamisus
.
