Sure looks like the underside of the arrow-shaped micrathena, but no arrows? Perhaps it's a juvenile?

Males are much more rounded
on the edges as in your image here, Spiders of the Eastern US, Howell and Jenkins, page 186

I agree
It must be that species, and I found a similar looking one recently. I assumed mine was a juvenile mostly because it was smaller. With this one, I think I see palps that would indicate a male. I'm not sure I've ever seen a male (or that this is one). I'll try to check some references from home at some point and report back.
