Agapostemon texanus ? - Agapostemon - male

Agapostemon texanus ? - Agapostemon - Male
Aromas, San Benito County, California, USA
August 11, 2008
Size: ~8mm.
Seen in our garden on Malva neglecta. I'm guessing it's a male Agapostemon texanus, perhaps the same species as this female seen in the same area a couple of days earlier? (live oak/chaparral habitat).
