Tulip-tree Silkmoth - Callosamia angulifera - Male

Size: 120 mm
Very large moth. I photographed this one by placing him in a freezer for a few minutes. While I was waiting, a second one showed up. Both were photographed and released. The second one was the larger of the two, measured at 120 mm span. Both were the dark variety (males?).
