On Friday, we visited the new Twin Creeks Science Center and the path from the parking lot to the Center was lined with orchids!

I suspect that they're Calyps
I suspect that they're Calypso bulbosa "Fairy Slippers". What a treat!

forgot to put in the scientific name: Triphora trianthophora.

Thanks! I love the native orchids. Do they average three flowers per stem, hence the name "Three Birds"?
