Weird-eyed mosquito - Psorophora ferox - Female

Note the red and green eyes and the white tip to the hind leg which is hard to make out against my skin.

I don't know if the eye color is natural or a flash artifact. It appeared in more than one picture and I did not see it in another mosquito today.
