Osmoderma.
This is a species of Osmoderma, also a scarab. Perhaps Phil H. can be more definitive. My guess is O. eremicola.

I agree, O. emericola.
The Latin name contributor suggested has been edited out since its mere inclusion in the discussion would cause image to appear with the *real* members of the species they suggested.
