Thanks, Ron! I shot a pic of this insect last year but a little later and thought it was a wasp but then last night I got a better shot of it and spotted the curled proboscis and feathery antennae and thought it was some type of clearwing moth! Thank you for identifying it and giving me a welcome! I've been lurking here over a year! It's a great site for insect id! Mystery is solved!
