Can these flies scavenging this beetle be ID'd?

Location
This one too.

Trail near the visitor center
The first trail we walked.

Is this sufficient? Is it okay to put the details here, or should I add it into the location above?

Scuttle flies.
Family is Phoridae. Some species oviposit in freshly-dead insect carcasses. I have had beetles on the mounting board infested with them! Ick:-p

Another ick...
...this is the carcass I pointed out to you. One of us picked it up, and I don't believe it was me :O
