Two blisters - Epicauta albida

Two blisters - Epicauta albida
World Birding Center HQ at Bentsen-Rio Grande Valley State Park, Hidalgo County, Texas, USA
July 25, 2006
Two beetles of the same family, no idea what either of them are. Could even be of the same species, but size difference and markings argue against that. Both showed up at the maintenance yard light, the smaller one in quite impressive numbers.

Moved
Moved from Epicauta based on ID provided by Ed Riley. E. albida is the larger of these two beetles, on the right; the smaller left-hand critter is E. nigritarsis.
