Large black beetle found in SW Pennsylvania - Osmoderma eremicola

Size: 1 1/2" to 2"?
Hello,
I found this big black beetle under my dog's water dish, it is without a doubt the largest beetle I have ever seen here in Pennsylvania. I have been searching the web but cannot find out what it is!? My daughter has named it, my husband holds it, but it just kind of creeps me out!!! PLEASE,what kind of beetle is this????
