Another mantidfly - Climaciella brunnea

Size: 20mm
It is remarkable to me how variable this species is, and how precisely the coloration mimics the Polistes wasps from this location. The wasp in this image was caught from the exact same spot as these mantispids, and the hue and banding pattern of the colors match amazingly well.
