I was not thrilled to see this at my research site. Forewarned is four-armed I suppose.

It just wants to give you a hug.
Once on a very narrow trail, I saw a small then-unidentified insect perched like so. I fired off one shot, before a jogger edged me out of the way and bumped the twig with a bare leg. Bug gone! When I got the image in the computer, I saw something pretty much like yours.
