Estigmene acrea caterpillar? - Estigmene acrea

Size: 5 - 6 cm

I think it is a Estigmene acrea, but I'm not 100% sure considering I'm not familiar with caterpillars. Can someone confirm or infirm this id?

It have been found (conjugation?) in a corn field, eating a corn cob, in Les Cèdres (Quebec, Canada).
