Northern Paper Wasp - Polistes fuscatus - Male
Muttontown Preserve, Nassau County, New York, USA

Size: 20mm +/-
Seen on goldenrod. I'm wondering if this is a Northern Paper Wasp. The face was dull yellow.

P. fuscatus male

males have pale yellow faces and hooked antennae
