Yellow-legged Meadowhawk ♀
This looks like a female Yellow-legged Meadowhawk (Sympetrum vicinum).
They're in my area (Greenville, RI). I've taken a number of photos of them, so, though new to insect ID's, I feel this is a correct conclusion. I'll be interested in the experts' comments.
