Blister Beetle - Epicauta funebris - Female

Size: 1.5-2 cm?
munching on a flower.
It was very hot & dry that day, and the water in the park was concentrated into small (though deep) pools.
Am I right in thinking this is a female?

Size is a rough estimate based on memory.
