Very impressive
I doubt there is another photo of a live individual. Mentioned only once in O'Neill's book and I don't think Evans got to study them. Parker paper from 1969 would be the one to have, and I don't. Only fifty species on the planet. Many in Europe and Africa and Russia. Only these below occur in the west. Only one sneaks as far east as TX (pernix).
D. rhimpa, D. picta (documented for Idaho), D. pernix, D. montana (documented for Idaho), D. millsi, D. immigrans (first found in Hawaii but occurs in the west), D. elegans, D. caerulea (documented for Idaho), D. bella (CA and NM).
