Strymon melinus
I think you're correct about it being a Gray Hairstreak. The hind wing is damaged (part missing), so the other wing shows through and makes for a bit of an odd look toward the tails.

Grey hairstreak?
Hairstreaks are very similar but I would go for Grey.
See this as well;
But not so sure about the smaller orangey patch, probably wrong.
